Biography
Mohammad Jamil Waseem is an academic lecturer and health sciences professional with a strong background in biology and medical technology. He was born in 1989 in Darbeng Village, Kamma District, Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the Faculty of Education, Nangarhar University, after successfully passing the national entrance examination in 2011 and graduating in 2015.
Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Waseem completed two years of professional Diploma in Medical Technology at Ariana Nangarhar Institute of Health Sciences. In 2017, he passed the Specialized Kankor Examination and was admitted to the Faculty of Medical Technology at Razi University, Kabul, from which he graduated in 2020. His academic education reflects a strong foundation in laboratory sciences and medical education.
Mr. Waseem has more than six years of academic and administrative experience in health sciences institutions. He has served in various roles, including Instructor, Assistant for Academic Affairs and Director at institutions such as Doctor Ashraf Institute, Zaland Nangarhar Institute and Alokozay Institute. He also served as Dean of the Faculty of Medical Laboratory Technology at Spinghar University, Nangarhar, for three years. Despite being as a lecturer at the aforementioned Faculty and teaching Hematology and Cellular Biology subjects, Mr. Wasim currently serves as the Vice Chancellor for Research and Academic Journals. He has authored two research articles, including one published in an international peer-reviewed journal and one in a national research journal, contributing to the advancement of health sciences research and academic publishing.
